All About Farms

Farms

 Our caterpillars are sure growing fast.

 We loved the musical instruments and playing catch with Maxine.

 Today we talked about what farmers do.  We mentioned our ideas and then we read all about them.

 For art we got to make our own painted butterflies.  We are sure anticipating when our caterpillars will finally change.

 We graphed farm animals and played a farm sound game.

 We also go to make our very own butter and eat it on our bread.  It was delicious.

Sharing

 Today we spent our time learning all about sharing and we used cookies as our guide.  We counted the correct number of cookies on each plate.

 We are really enjoying sorting all of our animals and we do that almost on a daily basis!

We read a story called, The Doorbell Rang.  It was about a family who shared all of their cookies.  Then we talked about things that we can share.

 

We got to use our cutting and gluing skills to make our own pretend cookies.  

 

During centers though, we got to make our own cookies that we get to bake at home...and share.

 We also made some friend books so that we can tell our families all about our friends and we played a cookie sharing game.
