Preschool Pajama Day!

Space

We have a new rocket ship in our classroom and it is a hit.

We got to learn all about the planets in space.We showed the class all the things an astronaut would need to travel to space.

Then we pretended that we were actually going there!

We each got to finger paint our own planets.

 At centers we played a syllable rocket game.

   We made little rockets and blew them to see how far they would fly.

 Then we played Planet Attack and compared numbers!  We love this game....

    

Day and Night

We are learning so much about the stars and the sky.  Some of us made constellations in the writing center.We talked about things that we do in the day and the night.

 Then we learned all about the sun, moon, earth and stars and what they are made of and how they help the earth.

We learned that shadows happen when the sun shines on the earth and we saw some shadows of things in our classroom.

 We got to draw and paint our own monster.  We found out it was not scary at all.

 We wrote shadow letters during centers.

 We played moon crater bingo.
